Dr Carlos E Fernandez Pena 67 longtime Lorain radiologist died Monday at Community Health Partners West after a short illness. Born in Argentina he moved to Lorain in 1963 and trained in Buenos Aires Detroit and Beaumont. He founded cath labs in Lorain County and advanced CT ultrasound and mammography. Survived by wife Erica daughters Gabriella Izzo and Michelle, brother Tirso, and relatives in Argentina. Memorial Mass Friday at St Jude Elyria with donations to The Community Foundation of Greater Lorain County.
