Oldest Ohio building restored to original Campus Martius form
The Rufus Putnam House in Marietta, part of the Campus Martius fortification, has been fully restored by the Ohio Historical Society and opened to the public. After six years of research, the structure now shows the original fortified residence as it stood until 1795 with all original timbers retained and furnished with period pieces.
