Curfew Tightened in North Ridgeville After Vandalism

Homicide charge filed against driver in Elyria crash

Edward Webb, 23, of Grafton faces first degree homicide by vehicle charges after a one car crash on West Erie Avenue that killed Billy Fordyce, 22, of Elyria. Webb, who was hospitalized in fair condition, allegedly drove the car that split in two after hitting two barriers. Fordyce’s wife identified Webb as the driver.

Car crash near Lodi claims Spencer driver life

A Spencer man, B. Packard, 42, died in a one car crash near Lodi at 9:35 p.m. He was pronounced dead at 9:45 p.m. at Lodi Community Hospital. Packard, a Medina County resident for 20 years, was northbound on Rt. 42 when he lost control, the car rolled over, and came to rest on its top.
