Orchard Mouse Control Demonstration Set at Knobie Orchard
An orchard mouse control demonstration will be held at 2 pm Monday at the Otto Knobie orchard on Henrietta Hill near State Routes 113 and 511. County agent Carl C. Deeds said orchards have suffered heavy damage from mice and rabbits and invited Erie and Huron County growers to observe grafting results and tree size impacts. William Fitawater of the U S Wildlife Service and Vernon Patterson of Ohio Agricultural Extension Service will attend, with local participation noted.
