Man Near Death After Route 20 Crash Near Ridgeville
William White, 41, of Cleveland, died at Elyria Memorial Hospital after an automobile accident on Route 20 near Ridgeville. His companion, Mrs. Elgi Dobbins, 27, of Cleveland, was seriously injured. Sheriff Adame noted White appeared to sleep at the wheel as their car left Route 20, struck a tree, and overturned. Dobbins sustained a fractured skull and a fractured left wrist.

Fromm Surrenders Before Penitentiary Transport
Charles Fromm former Stark county commissioner surrendered at the county jail and was sent to the state penitentiary at Columbus ten minutes later. He had been sentenced to one year and ten months for soliciting a babe from the Carlson Cleveland Co to obtain a contract for furnishing equipment for the Molly Stark sanitarium near Canton. The Ohio Supreme Court overruled his appeal last Friday. Deputies with a capias tried to arrest him in Canton but he stayed in Pennsylvania until he returned to Cleveland to surrender. He was accompanied by a Canton friend.
