In Cleveland, two local men M T Hayes and Frank E Kuchenrither suffered minor injuries when a slowly moving New York Central passenger train struck a switch engine in the Collinwood rail yard. The collision derailed several cars and 29 people were injured, though only the two locals required hospitalization for observation.
