Horace M. Ebert 76 former Elyria High School principal dies suddenly at his home after a cerebral hemorrhage. He served Elyria High as principal for 22 years and 10 more as a math teacher, with a 46 year career in education. Born near Harrisburg Pa in 1854 he taught in country schools then in Huron and Seneca Kansas before becoming Grafton superintendent and later joining Elyria High.
