Oct 19 dispatch from Lorain details visits, moves, and illnesses. Residents include Mrs Edith Morris, Mrs Leon ard of Lorain, C Ackerman, Logan family, the Reese family, and Mr G Reese. Harold Engle underwent surgery at Elyria Memorial. Community events cover church ladies aid, birthday observances for Mrs Sprague, and multiple visits among local families.
A patient at the Elyria clinic was admitted Thursday morning with appendicitis and is reported to be getting along nicely. Mrs. W. W. Marlett visited Elyria on Thursday. Mrs Margaret Wilson of Cleveland stayed with her niece, Mrs. Julia Goodsite, Thursday evening. Members of division No. 1 attended.
The M F E Ladies' Aid Society served a hot dinner in the church parlors Thursday noon. A large crowd enjoyed the meal and the social hour. Guest: Mr Witham Warner formerly of Vincent now living in Lorain was the supper guest of Mrs F Beese.
