Ford earnings fall 68 percent in third quarter
Ford Motor Co posted a 68 percent drop in third quarter profits to 357 million dollars or 28 cents a share, from 11 billion dollars or 1.04 a share a year earlier. U.S. sales to dealers fell 12 percent to 869 thousand vehicles while the financial services unit set a record 558 million dollars.
