Big Cut Seen In Hog Marketings In Coming Year

The Agricultural Adjustment Administration plans a permanent hog reduction after the September 29 cutoff, cutting fall marketing by about 20 percent and yearly marketing by 12 to 14 percent. A 150 thousand sow slaughter will aid the spring 1934 cut, with plans for reduced corn acreage and sow farrowing.
