Elyria Mayor Bill Grace urged central location for a new Elyria High School, arguing downtown sits at the heart of redevelopment. North Olmsted mayor outlines prime development plans
North Olmsted Mayor Norman Musial unveiled a bold growth program in his State of the City address. The plan seeks to buy homes between Lorain Road and the I 480 overpass to create an upscale business and residential district, plus funding for the Crocker-Stearns roadway link and a new bus garage. He aims to move major projects within three years, contingent on federal funds, while noting a tight budget with only about 500000 for capital improvements next year and about 2 million needed to balance the 2003 budget.
