Delta Kappa Gamma Chapter Programs Aid Education
Delta Nu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma heard a program on the expanding role of women in education by Mrs Morris Tran at the Oct 7 meeting held at Mrs Ed Charles home in North Ridgeville. A memorial service for charter member Miss Madelyn Williams, who died Sept 19, was observed. The chapter will donate to the Delta Kappa Gamma Society scholarship fund in her memory. Williams was a longtime Avon Lake teacher and guidance counselor. Remembrance gifts were planned for area libraries, and a recruitment grant to Lorain County Community College was announced in conjunction with Beta Gamma and Gamma Sigma chapters. Next meeting is Nov 5 at Mrs Tran's Oberlin home.
