Direct Relief Extended Beyond Nov. 1 Estimate
Washington October 16 officials estimated the $4 000 006 090 work relief program will fall short of its goal by about 2 9090 060 and direct relief would continue at least until December 1. Administrator Hopkins said federal funds would aid states until all are employed. The FERA already has 02 009 900 of the 58 get set aside by Congress to continue the program if needed.
