Spirit Walk at Ridgelawn Cemetery Walk Delights History Buffs
Lorain County Historicals Society hosts a 5 p.m. spirit walk at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Elyria on Wednesday revealing stories of long gone residents. The Lorain County VFW Auxiliary 1079 hosts a craft fair at 500 S. Abbe Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 28 with handmade crafts and local vendors. An Oct. 28 art and gift sale at Redeemer Lutheran Church runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $1. A county paper shredding event takes place 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Elyria City Hall parking lot. The Lorain County Community College Harvest Festival is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 28 at College Center. Oktoberfest 2017 at Community of Faith UCC runs 5 to 7 p.m. with tickets and live music.
