Two men steal rings from Osterman's Jewelers
Two men posing as buyers walked into Osterman's Jewelers at 409 Midway Ave Elyria about 5:30 pm and fled with rings valued at 12 150. Police say they talked to two clerks and used a cash laden act to distract staff before slipping away with a 1.25 carat diamond solitaire and five other diamonds totaling 5900. The suspects appeared about 25 years old and flashed numerous hundred dollar bills in a bank envelope.
