Pastor Crombie Driven From Lead High School
The Rev A H Crombie, a militant fundamentalist, was bodily ejected from Lead High School by Principal C C Curran after demanding to inspect classes for teaching of evolution and modern heresies. Crombie said Curran refused and they descended stairs in a scuffle. The state synod of the Presbyterian church at Groton was weighing his removal from the ministry.
