Law school enrollment sinks in Ohio amid faltering job market
The Associated Press reports Ohio’s five public law schools show reduced combined enrollment of 674 students, down from 950 in 2009-10, with applications dropping about 40 percent as graduates face average debt of over 100000 dollars and a median salary near 76000 dollars. Capital University Law School also fell 37 percent to 156 students. Deans blame outsourcing, changing demand, and students entering with clearer goals.
