Students work out Midview class problems
A Midview High School program called Occupational Work Adjustment helps freshmen build self confidence and reenter regular classes. Students aged 14 to 15 work two hours daily in school roles earning $1.50 per hour with some savings withheld, while attending English science and physical education plus a related studies block. The program aims to rehabilitate students for mainstream return and includes field trips and open discussion led by Bruce Hosta, the program director and wrestling coach.
