Wellington girls bake candy for sick and elderly
Wellington VFW Girls' Junior Unit ages six to sixteen started a candy making fundraiser to raise about 100 dollars for Christmas donations to eight rest homes and a hospital. Guided by Janet Church, Sara Stanley, and Glenn Bennette, they produced seven candy varieties and will sell them next week, with orders via Mrs Don Miller and Mrs Ruth Church.
