Nexus Gas Transmission pipeline scheduled to start soon
The 2.1 billion Nexus Gas Transmission project inches toward construction with FERC approval this summer and plans to begin within a month. The 255 mile route runs from Hanover Township through several counties to the Toledo area, Michigan, and Canada with 97 percent of rights of way secured via negotiations. CORN leader Paul Gierosky objects to the decision.

Man struck at hospital dies after crash in Elyria
Robert Gray Jr. 58 of Grafton died from injuries after being struck by Christina Gringle 30 while leaving the emergency room with his ex wife Samantha Gray at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. They were hit at about 8 p.m. Friday and flown to MetroHealth Medical Center. Samantha treated for minor injuries. Investigation continues with no charges filed.
