Hijackers steal jewels on Long Island Expressway

Boy agrees to be set on fire for soda and money
A 12 year old Denver boy allowed himself to be doused with lighter fluid and set afire by three youths who promised a soda and a quarter. He suffered second degree burns over a fifth of his body and was placed on a respirator. The suspects, ages 12 and 13, allegedly stole lighter fluid during a shoplifting spree. The case was sent to the district attorney for possible charges.
