Jackson Faces New Felonious Assault Charge in Columbus
AP report from Columbus states William Bernard Jackson, a 31 year old physician freed after serving five years for two rapes, faces a new felonious assault charge by Helen Thaggard who says he struck her jaw with his foot on September 5. Police say witnesses corroborate Thaggard. Jackson has denied the accusation. He was arrested previously in 1982 and released. Dr Edward Jackson Jr. is unrelated and was jailed for attacks on women.
