Avon Lake opens PTA talks on Modernizing Our Wardrobe
Avon Lake October report notes Home Economics division of the PTA met at Mrs H C Castle to hear county extension agent Miss Alice Bird of Elyria speak on wardrobe modernization. Next meeting set for November 13 inviting all interested attendees. Also reports arrival of a baby son for Mr and Mrs Frank Eckstein Jr at their Cleveland home. Village Council met at Park Hall approving invoices and filling planning commission seats with Eugene Herman resigning and Hugh Kane Sr appointed. Library Board candidates named T J Nussdorfer for two years and Albert Wood for four years.
