On the sunburnt field at League Park Cleveland Indians press the Brooklyn Dodgers in a decisive seventh game for the world series title. The local paper notes the contest as the probable final for the National League champions with Arch Covey and Grimes delivering key moments.
Coventry Coveleskie pitched his third win of the series as Cleveland defeated Brooklyn 3 to 0 at League Park. The win gave Cleveland five victories to two for Brooklyn in the championship, with Brooklyn’s lineup producing little against the Cleveland ace. Continuation noted on Page Six.
The manager of an electric company replies to a Chronicle Telegram letter by Burke, defending a rate increase and the policy of deposits for extensions. Discharges include Edward Kershaw of West Street and several others at 1605 Middle Avenue 250 Kenyon Avenue 344 Vulcan Street and Ambkera. Columbus report states Dayton Power and Light sought $1,344,000 first refunding mortgage bonds with the state utilities commission for improvements.

Other contributors include Roy Smith, R Rice, and E Struck with multiple signups. Mrs Wolfe's funeral is set for Wednesday at 2 PM on North Ridge. Advertising is urged as essential to business growth.
Secretary of War Newton D. Baker and Governor James M. Cox Democratic candidates for president and for war address Elyria audiences this evening and tomorrow. Baker speaks at 8 oclock in the public square about the league of nations and his ties to President Wilson. Cox follows at 11 30 Saturday from the band stand, focusing on campaign issues and the league of nations.
