Cleveland police hold 27 year old Hubert Swint for the murder of Mrs. Sarah Evans 45 and John Pruitt 32 in a shooting that followed an altercation over a dog. One pistol shot passed through the first victim's neck and lodged in the woman's head.

Mystery murder found near German Evangelical Deaconess hospital

A young woman in underclothes was found shot in the heart in an alley behind the hospital. A long black fur trimmed coat covered the body, which was placed at the hospital entrance after the shooting. Police conduct house to house canvassing to identify the victim and trace the killer.
