Amend Ohio Constitution to issue bonds for World War veterans
Ohio voters will decide on a proposed amendment adding a new section to Article VIII. If ratified, the state would issue up to 25 million dollars in sinking fund bonds to fund a World War compensation program for veterans. Bonds bear interest, are tax exempt, and proceeds finance annual payments to eligible service members from 1917 to 1918.
