New Delhi cleans up for politicians amid trash plagued city
In New Delhi a one day Clean City festival saw a park scrubbed spotless and alleys cleared for visiting politicians. Critics question impact while supporters credit chief minister Sheila Dikshit for lightening pollution and enacting better disposal and gas powered public transport. Citizens wonder if attitudes will change beyond the spectacle.
