Boy Struck by Automobile Seriously Injured
Eight year old Robert Kaatz of 231 Harwood Street was injured around 5 p m yesterday when he ran into a car near his home. He was found unconscious by W L Albright and Eddie Drager and taken to Elyria Memorial Hospital for a fractured skull and other injuries. Police investigated but found no clear driver.

Russia calls neutrality note act of hostility at Madrid talks
London October 9 Russia's neutrality note is an act of hostility said Portuguese delegate Francisco Calheiros as he left a meeting of the International committee of 27 nations on neutrality in Spain. Russia accused Germany Italy and Portugal of aiding the rightist Spanish rebels and threatened to aid the Madrid government if aid ceased. Calheiros walked out indignant after Russia charged Portugal with violating the neutrality pact.
