Denver jury hears suit over therapist alleged harm to multiple personality patient
Former Denver psychologist Corky Leong is accused of causing Dawn Fried mental collapse by befriending her while treating her multiple personality disorder. Fried, who is hospitalized and absent from trial, alleges Leong fomented a civil conflict within her mind. Defense contends he only sought to help and misread boundaries. Jury closes and prepares to deliberate amid complex testimony about childhood abuse and Fried’s fractured psyche.
