At the church parlors the Ladies Aid met for devotions and a quilting session with 23 members planning a December bazaar. Joyfoot club hikers enjoyed a two mile morning walk with plans for Wednesdays before school. A dinner gathering included several families, while Holy Name and related societies organized a bazaar for mid November with a committee led by Thomas Andrews.
