Police probe of a deadly 1979 fire remains unsolved while Jacob Diaz’s relatives press for justice. Nicole Diaz’s family reached a federal settlement with Geneseo Inc. over non flame retardant pajamas, totaling 1.45 million in installments until Nicole’s 59th birthday. Neighbors describe Nicole and Jacob as pleasant, with some noting ridicule over scars.
