Wellington Homes Preserve Historic Style With Antiques Tour
Tour organizers highlight three historic Wellington houses. Mrs Waldner’s Queen Anne home, built in the 1870s by WE Sawtell, features original interiors and antiques. Grimm’s brick Italianate house, known as the old Deacon West property, showcases a presidential memorabilia collection. The McKnight house, a 1832 Greek Revival, once sheltered Underground Railroad slaves in a hidden basement passage.
