Toledo jail death adds to Lucas County roundup
Lucas County sheriff officials say 43 year old Devanna James was found unresponsive in her jail cell Monday night and died Tuesday, with no signs of foul play. James had been jailed since June and faced murder charges in a November stabbing that killed Paul Napier Jr. in which a collapsed lung was recorded for the victim. Napier died in January and James’ trial was set for Oct. 30.
