Most Guantanamo inmates to be freed or sent home

The Washington Post reports that Army Brig. Gen. Martian Lucenti said most detainees at Guantanamo Bay are likely to be released or transferred due to low intelligence value and weak evidence for prosecution. His view contrasts with Gen. Hood and Gen. Miller who emphasize ongoing intelligence value and interconnections of terrorism. The military has accelerated releases following a Supreme Court decision limiting government authority to detain without federal court access.
