Boosters aid injured resident at Olmsted Falls Homecoming
Chad Johnson, 20, a former Olmsted Falls Bulldog, is wheelchair bound after a 1994 April tug of war accident at Kent State left him with an incomplete spinal injury. Community fundraisers at the Olmsted Falls Amherst Homecoming game and local groups are raising around 40,000 dollars for a van with a chairlift, with 5,000 pledged so far. Johnson aims to regain independence through therapy, electrical stimulation trials at MetroHealth, and a return to Kent State for a degree.
