Virginia Beach police say 17 year olds William Reeves and Dena Martinez fled after a traffic stop driving without headlights at the oceanfront. The car crashed into a hornet nest after a high speed chase, injuring no one but stinging a officer and a rescue worker. Martinez was placed with relatives in Chesapeake. Reeves faces reckless driving and disregard for police lights and siren charges. The couple had driven from Ohio to marry, with Martinez a North Canton Vocational student and Reeves a McKinley High School senior.
