Safe Halloween party on Butler Road grows each year
The Sabin family hosts a neighborhood Halloween party in their basement for youngsters up to age twelve with decorations, puppet show, costumes and prizes. Family members and neighbors prepare punch, donuts, games like pin the tail on the black cat, and a scheduled trick or treat alternative is discussed for safer celebrations. About 40 children attend annually as plans expand.
