Man Confesses to Murder of 15 Year Old Girl

Springfield sheriffs say Dwight D. Tudor 26 of Columbus confessed to the murder of Mary Ann Page 15 whose body was found in a country school yard. Tudor admitted the Sunday night slaying and said he feared the girl would kill him. Officers recovered a .22 rifle at a friend’s home and Tudor was arrested in Columbus while driving a girlfriend to police headquarters. Mary Ann and Elsie Page said the victim had gone out with older boys and was last seen at a Sunday night cinema with her sister.
