Cleveland wills case faces Ohio Supreme Court over Miles trust
Ohio Supreme Court heard arguments to force the execution of a 109 year old Daniel Miles will. Trustees seek to reclaim control of property on Public Square and 46 acres in Newburg, with proceeds once earmarked for Miles heirs and a church and school. Another Record Gas Well Brought In In Carlisle Township
A new gas well on the Niels Poulsen farm in Carlisle township produced 4,129,000 cubic feet daily after striking gas at 2,415 feet about 10 PM. Drilling resumed at 3 AM with 19 feet of gas producing sand revealed. It is the third well on Steel and Tubes Company leases and the fourteenth drilled by C. A. McMillen and associates, mostly Elyrians, in two years. Another well will start immediately on the adjoining Frank Kovarik farm.

Youth Surrenders After Two Years on Robbery Charge
Frank Kristosic 20 of Elyria turned himself in to Prosecutor Don W Myers surrendering on a robbery charge. He followed fellow fugitive Joe Sajo who had given himself up May 25 and was paroled for two years after restitution. The victims were Elyria Country Club employees Arthur Davis Carrie Chapman and James Howe who were robbed of 75 dollars leaving the club house.

Man Hurt In Broad Street Collision At West Avenue

Gas Co Puts Up Bond in Local Rate Case
