Chevrolet production surges past two thousand per day
In 1917 Chevrolet produced 77,605 vehicles in the US Canada and export markets. By 1922 output more than tripled to 242,373 units. For 1923 sales were expected to reach near triple figures again. Daily capacity rose from about 260 cars in 1921 to roughly 2,500, an increase of about 1,000 percent in two years.
