Elyria voters urged to back Issue 5 school levy now
Elyria residents of all ages are urged to support the 4.95 mill five year levy to fund the district's Performance Plan For Student Success. The plan covers textbooks, computers, supplies, building maintenance, and rising utility costs. Supporters argue funding boosts property values and local employment, while protecting athletics and advanced classes. John Howard and Jim Vandemark chair the citizens committee, with levy co-chairs listed by the district office.
