A 25 by 42 inch mural depicting Lorain Harbor history adorns the second floor hall of Lorain City Hall. Artist Paul Henschke of 316 Seventh Street spent two years in spare time researching and painting the piece on untreated sailing canvas. He notes the work is historically accurate and plans a larger harbor portrayal tied to a $22 million improvement project, with completion hoped next year.
