Young Mosley Rejects Title in British Title Debate
Sir Oswald Mosley dies at Hilton Lodge leaving heir Oswald Mosley Jr a titled baronet by law but reluctant to use the form. Lady Cynthia Mosley, daughter of the Marquess Curzon, prefers two forms of address. The college of arms says the son cannot relinquish the baronetcy, though he may drop formal use and be called Mr. or Comrade. The dispute echoes past British precedents on title and social rules.
