An award winning sign painter and art director he worked for Thew Shovel Company Smith and Gerhart Department Store Photocomposition and Carpenter Reserve Printing. He was active in Sts Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church and the Federated Russian Orthodox Club and traveled widely. He is survived by sisters Olga Guzy and Natalie Ceja and several nieces and nephews. Burial is in Elmwood Cemetery Lorain with services at Sts Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church. A 39 year old Lorain woman told police her boyfriend attacked her after a night at his West 13th Street home. She says he dragged her by the hair hit her and poured urine on her before she fled to the police station. The windshield was shattered when he damaged it with a mop. No arrests have been made and the case remains under investigation.

PTSD episode blamed in restaurant knife incident
In Lorain a breakfast shift at Pete's Family Restaurant was interrupted when a patron tried to stab his grandfather.
