Demolition of Williamson and Cuyahoga Buildings Clears Way for Sohio Tower
In Cleveland, 11 workers from Controlled Demolition Inc. imploded the Williamson and Cuyahoga buildings to make way for a 45 story Sohio office tower. The eight second sequence created the largest city dust cloud, drawing about 6000 spectators. Rubble removal will take six to eight weeks as the site is prepared for the new skyscraper.
