Elyria Faces $650,000 Shortfall Without Spending Cuts

Bay Village probes link to 1989 Amy Muhaljevic case

Bay Village police may interview Olmsted Falls man Glenn Talbott Jr., 39, charged this week with rapes of a 12 year old girl, after a tip tied him to the Amy Muhaljevic kidnapping. Det. Farrell Cleary said Talbott resembles the composite but cautioned he is not yet a suspect. The inquiry follows Talbott’s October 27, 1989 NASA Lewis Center work date, the day Amy disappeared from Bay Square Shopping Center.

Indictment sought in Kristen's death

Lorain County prosecutors plan to present a case to the grand jury next Tuesday in the death of 13 month old Kristen LaMarr in the foster home of Richard J Schultz and Susan M Schultz. A medical report showed patterns of abuse with healed arm leg and rib fractures. Kristen died June 6 1990 from head injuries cited as homicide. Nicole LaMarr surrendered custody earlier. A $1 million civil suit was filed against the foster parents and Childrens Services.
