End of CT CB column after seven years of writing
After more than seven years of reporting on the CB radio scene this columnist retires. He reflects on the CB era from 1976, noting FCC licensing chaos, bloated chatter, and abuses that reduced conversation quality. Many activists switch to amateur radio, while clubs persist with public service. He credits FCC contacts and colleagues, and looks toward a tech future with TV, solar power, and personal computers, but will not continue the column.
