Ohio lawmakers face a budget with a large tax hike

DePaola Convicted Of Obstruction In City Finance Case
Oberlin Amherst Mayor Anthony DePaola was convicted on five counts of obstruction and five counts of complicity to falsify tax records after an eight juror deliberation. Solomon pleads guilty to cocaine possession in Cleveland
Solomon, a former local basketball player, pleaded guilty Thursday in US District Court to possession with intent to distribute nearly 2 kilograms of cocaine. Prosecutors said a suitcase with the drugs, valued near $2 million, was found at his Avon home. Sentencing set for Oct 30. max penalty 15 years and/or $25,000 fine.
