Norwalk to sue state over public defenders costs
Norwalk in Huron County will file suit Monday in common pleas court against Ohio to compel 50 percent payment of defense costs for indigent criminal defendants under the public defenders program. The action names State Auditor Ferguson and State Treasurer Donahoe as defendants and argues the state owes half of attorney fees.
