Students screened in tuberculosis fight in Lorain County
A county wide TB screening program targets students and teachers in Lorain County schools following Ohio law. Dr. Marion G. Fisher notes boards of education must conduct annual exams for staff and tuberculin tests for public and private school children, with X rays optional for certain cases. The TB and Health Association opens an X-ray bus to aid screening, with follow up support from the health department.
